I have been self-employed as an event videographer in Bloomington, Indiana for 25 years and have worked in television for 40 years. My background includes work in television and radio news, public affairs programming and childrens television. I have taught video production to children for over thirty years. I enjoy putting technology in their hands and watching their self esteem grow along with their creativity. I cover over 150 events each year as an event videographer. I have personally done the videos for over 550 weddings and enjoy doing weddings now more than ever.
Sports and arts videos are on my desktop year-round. But I find I am happiest working on projects that document some special element of my community or family. I feel I have a responsibility to tell these stories and hope to continue pursuing this passion for video storytelling the rest of my life.

I spend a lot of my free time documenting community celebrations and festivals. My goal is to record the institutional history of these community events, capturing the flavor, character and energy of a community coming together for a common purpose. My hour-long series of community videos "Hoosier Community Celebration Stories" is televised weekly on the Monroe County Public Library's Library Channel, Tuesdays at 6 p.m & Wednesdays at 8 p.m.
